I have a 9 yr old stud that is super sweet. The other day I was grooming one of the geldings near his pen, when he reached through the fence grabbed me by the chest and tried to pull me into his pen. What would make him do this? He is normally a super sweet guy that loves attention. He does not like the other geldings around him, but why would he bite me?

Sometimes stallions can act a bit unpredictably. That's why a lot of barns will not allow them to board there. Your stallion may be super sweet but he is still a stallion and one should never forget that. He can still act like a stallion.... who knows why they do what they do but they DO have a lot of hormones going through their veins and this can make a sweet horse act dangerously at times.
Perhaps he was jealous of your geldings and acted accordingly to take you away from them?

Thanks for the response... I guess I just took it too personal. He is one of my favorites. I think it hurt my feelings even more than my chest. LOL
